Today's honorary ringer: Ryan White

The kid waited all year to finally play and got into a fight right off the bat. Not a slow dance like many of the fights have become, but a real one with several landed punches. As much as I love the kid for being everything most of our guys are not, it's sad that I look at his return as a possible spark. He has 2 career goals. But hey, that's one more than Scotty in the same time span.

You see, this is why the Carolina game hurt so much. Had we won that game, the point from last night seems like a huge accomplishment. We're obviously not gonna win every game, so getting a point against the Bruins is an accomplishment after winning 5 straight. But because we let fucking Eric Staal own us like the whores that we are, this point seems inadequate, like HF4's love making skills.

Why must this team make is so hard for us to move on? If you're gonna lose, then lose. Why take a lead into the 3rd period just to squander it against a last place team? Why come back from 2 goals down against the Stanley cup chance just to get blanked in the shootout? WHY? We should be 3 points behind Toronto instead of 3 points up on Carolina.
