Btw, KmaXXX, I admire your optimism, I really do, but at what point do you give in to reality? According to sportsclubstats.com the Habs now have a 0.1% chance of making the playoffs. So it's pretty much a sure thing. Winning now can only hurt the team in the long run so why would you want that? BTW, the hero of the day for this blog should be Rene Bourque, 24 shifts, O hits, O shots. There's a man who has it all figured out.
DW...I have no playoff aspirations for the Habs this season. Haven't for several weeks now, however it is not in my DNA to want to see them lose - ever. I understand the whole draft pick thing, but I still cannot bring myself to want them to lose. They played piss poor last night against a team that they should have beaten easily (if they played like they did on Saturday against Vancouver). But they came back, pulled the goalie and nabbed a beater buzzer for the loser point - in a season like the one we're enduring, that, as they say over in these parts, is a result my son!

By far the best post/label combination in the history of post/label combinations...
hockey players lack free will
Come on you tankards...leave the poor kid alone. At least he put in some effort!
It's okay, we're still in 15th and almost every team above us has games in hand. Too bad the Oilers are sucking eggs.

dwgs- we need another metric, number of times the player touched the puck, or was within two meters of puck.
