The Morning Bell for Monday March 5, 2012

Today's honorary ringer: Rory McIlroy

The kid became the 2nd youngest golfer to reach #1. I can't remember who was the youngest. Some black fella. And he did it by winning the Honda Classic by 2 strokes over that same black guy. I can't believe I can't remember his name. So embarrassing. Do you know who I'm talking about? Black guy with huge teeth? Likes hookers and porn stars? Anyways, I'm sure it will come back to me.

Big week for the Habs with a western road trip on the menu. Tonight I will be cheering the Edmonton Oilers on as they face the Ducks. A win and they creep up to 2 points back with 1 game in hand. I gotta say, the race for last is just as much fun as a race for 1st, without all the stress, insanity and pride.

We will get Huberdeau out of this, and you will acknowledge PG is a genius. We missed on Lemiux, St Martin, Vinne, and PG delivered. Plan the parade and make a spot for a new bronze.
