Game Review: Habs vs Sens

So we're up to 4 wins in a row since La Revolucion (the Gomez injury) and the exposure of PP as the satan worshiper that he was. Coincidence? We'll never know. But on October 24th, Jackie was an idiot, Carey was shaky, PK was a rookie and we couldn't score. Since then, all is well in Habland. The easiest things to explain the sudden turnaround are Eller's play and Cole's arrival. We all new Eller had talent, all 13th overall picks do. But he finally is finding his groove and the confidence needed to show it. Little mistakes are not costing him icetime and he always seems to get 1 or 2 solid scoring chances a game. If he keeps that up, he's a 25-30 goal man. As for Cole, he's starting to look like a $4M player. His patented skate toward the outside move can be seen every game and he's finally getting some powerplay time. 13 mins of ice is still a little low, but I'll give Jackie the benefit of the doubt because of the back to back road games.

There's not much time to enjoy last night's win. Habs hit the Big Apple in a clash with Sean Avery and the Rangers at MSG... Something tells me PK is gonna have some fun tonight. The bigger the spotlight, the more that kid shines.
